Vico Office is the BIM-neutral platform that analyzes, organizes, and synthesizes Revit, Tekla, and ArchiCAD files. Simply publish to Vico Office from your favorite BIM-authoring tool, and the platform takes care of the rest! There’s no file format to alter, no conversion, simply publishing.

The first step is a Quantity Takeoff based on the model geometry. Utilizing a patent-pending algorithm, Vico Office produces a listing of construction quantities which are then used to power the estimates and schedules. These construction-caliber quantities hold the key for accurate calculations throughout the project.

Why does this one step level the playing field? Vico Office adds a more granular set of building information to the building model through these construction quantities which is simply not needed nor available in the design environment. Now project stakeholders can participate in the BIM using their favorite tools. Quantities for construction can be quickly extracted, or for graphical users, painted into families for quick highlighting in the 3D model.

Inside the Excel-like interface, the user can explode a cell to expose the Formula Editor. Using the Formula Editor, the user can quickly access the multiple quantity types in the model and customize their specific calculations to account for consumption rates, waste factors, and escalations. Estimating is streamlined from the first conceptual estimate through the final GMP.

And because we’re working with an estimating and scheduling database, reports can be built on the fly to easily communicate project details.
