In today’s construction trailer there is a distinct need to communicate the "final plan" of how a coordinated building goes together. The field crew needs drawings to better understand the project. Did you know that Vico’s Constructor not only builds the virtual model, coordinates the various building systems, but also generates automated construction documentation for 2D field/shop drawings? The drawing sheets can be printed, faxed, pdf’d, emailed or published online with a click of the mouse.
Vico’s Constructor has a specific set of tools that allow you to develop and coordinate your various building systems (MEP, Structural, Architectural etc.) and then take “views” or snapshots of how the building goes together. These views are then annotated with dimensions, notes, and references that are automatically updated once they are placed onto a drawing sheet. If the building changes, so do the drawings!
General Contractors who self-perform concrete should take special note of this webinar. Lift Drawings are generated by project engineers hundreds of times on every construction project using 2D CAD or in some cases pencil on tracing paper. These lift drawing can be done in Vico without the hassle of redrawing changes.
