Mark Sawyer

President and CEO

Mark Sawyer is President and CEO of Vico Software and co-founder of the company. Prior to forming Vico, Mark was entrepreneur-in-residence at Borealis Ventures, whom he joined in 2006. His prior industry experience includes his role as President and CEO of @Last Software in Boulder, Colorado where he led the merger between @Last and Google in March 2006. Before @Last, Mark was Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations for design software maker Graphisoft, headquartered in Budapest, Hungary. From 1993 to 2000 he was with software industry leader Autodesk of San Rafael, California, finally serving as the company's Vice President of the AEC division. Mr. Sawyer has also served as the President of ManagedOps of Bedford, New Hampshire, a venture-funded application services provider, now part of Navisite, Inc.
Mark holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.

 

Donald R. Henrich II

Vice President Americas

 

Donald R. Henrich II is Vice President of the Americas for Vico Software and co-founder of the company. Prior to forming Vico, he was Vice President and General Manager of Graphisoft US, Inc, whom he joined in 2004. Don's prior industry experience includes his role as President and CEO of Software Emancipation Technology (SET), a privately held company with headquarters in Burlington, MA. Before SET he was Senior Vice President of Marketing at Parametric Technology Corporation, a world-leading engineering software company, headquartered in Needham, MA, where he also held General Manager Positions running Asia and Europe. Mr. Henrich was also co-founder of MatrixOne, now a subsidiary of Dassault Systems.
Don holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.

Clay Freeman

Chief Product Officer

 

Clay Freeman is Chief Product Officer for Vico Software and co-founder of the company. Prior to forming Vico, Clay was Vice President of the Construction Solutions Division at Graphisoft, where he led the Virtual Construction initiative. His prior industry experience includes heading the product management group at Autodesk responsible for building industry products. Before Autodesk, Clay spent several years consulting for building developers on generating returns from technology investments and consulting for large architectural and engineering companies on technology deployment.
Mr. Freeman has sixteen years experience in the construction industry and ten years experience on projects relating to applying technology to preconstruction planning.

 

 

Olli Seppanen

Vice President of Services Field Operations

 

Olli Seppanen is Director of Production Control Solutions for Vico Software and co-founder of the company. Prior to forming Vico, Olli was Director of Production Control Solutions at Graphisoft. Olli's prior industry experience includes developing theory and practical tools for location-based planning and management systems. In 2000, he founded Dynamic System Solutions Oy, (DSS), a privately held company based in Helsinki, Finland, which developed planning and control software for the construction industry. DSS solutions were rapidly implemented in all the largest construction firms in Finland, and the company was acquired by Graphisoft in 2005.
Mr. Seppanen holds a Master of Science degree from the Helsinki School of Economics. He has been a visiting scholar and lecturer in Stanford University's CIFE program, and continues his PhD research in methodologies for construction planning and control.

 

 

 

Holly Allison

Vice President of Marketing

 

Holly Allison is Vice President of Marketing for Vico Software, responsible for defining Vico Software's brand, strategic marketing, lead generation, and communications campaigns.  In her previous role as VP of Marketing and Business Development at TradeStone Software, a global sourcing solution for retailers, she successfully expanded the branding and lead generation to grow the company four-fold, winning retail giants on five continents.  As Director of Marketing for Optiant, a supply chain design company, Holly was instrumental in the company's communications development, garnering IndustryWeek's prestigious Technology of the Year Award.  Prior to joining Optiant, Holly was Director of Marketing at SupplierMarket.com, the first online marketplace for discrete manufacturers.  The comprehensive marketing strategy garnered 35% market share of manufacturing suppliers, resulting in an acquisition by Ariba, Inc. valued at $585 million.  She began her software career in the CAD/CAM space with SmarTeam, a product data management solution, acquired by Dassault Systèmes to complement SolidWorks and CATIA environments.

 

Ms. Allison earned a BS in Psychology from Northeastern University and an MS in Clinical Psychology from Harvard University. 

 

 

Sharon Kincl

Vice President of Finance

 

Sharon Kincl is Vice President of Finance for Vico Software.  Ms. Kincl has over 20 years' experience in executive and financial management positions within the technology and investment banking industries where she was instrumental in facilitating rapid corporate growth, financing arrangements as well as numerous U.S. and international M&A transactions from both the buy-side and sell-side.  Prior to Vico Software, Ms. Kincl held positions as a financial executive at several companies which pioneered technology to facilitate global information services, database management, ASP services and transaction processing.  Additionally, Ms. Kincl's investment banking experience was focused on financing real estate development projects.  Most recently, Ms. Kincl served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Operations for Fetter Logic, Inc. in Denver, CO.
