The cost of this Lean Construction approach to Coordination is averaging less than 0.185% of the cost of the construction project. And it includes providing high quality fabrication information and 2D installation drawings, as well as fully-documented 6D (Facilities Management) model.
If the total cost of your subs fees for coordination exceed 0.15% of the project, you are missing out on an opportunity to increase your profit per project.
For the past four years, Team Vico has been working on a better way to perform coordination. Don't get me wrong, using 3D models and a clash detection system as many firms are doing today is a huge improvement over the 2D-centric coordination process of the past.
